Jenny's packages include mindset techniques, exercise programming, customised nutrition, lifestyle changes, postural correction, yoga, mindfulness, organisation and goal setting. Her goal is for you to fall in love with your body and with working out.

Packages Include

A bespoke exercise plan will be put together, tailored to your needs. The program will incorporate HIIT training combined with a periodised resistance plan. This will result is a lean, strong and toned physique. With resistance training to your transformation you will raise your metabolism. This means that you will burn more calories at rest. Resistance training also improves bone density helping to protect against Osteoporosis.

Nutrition is the key to successful weight loss. We will work together to calculate your macros. Then design a nutrition plan that works for you. Jenny will also look at which supplements would help you to achieve the best results possible.

On top of knowing what foods to eat, another element is knowing whether you are eating due to hunger, or due to your emotions. We will help you to distinguish between the two. This will give you tools to cope with your emotions, rather than turning to food.

Health and fitness is much more than just the body. Our mindset determines our long term success. As the saying goes 'whether you think you can or you think you can't, you're right. Self sabotage can be your biggest downfall. Is it also important that you are doing exerce for the right reasons. If you do it because you dislike your body, you can exercise for as long as you like but you will not achieve results. Exercise should not be a form of punishment, it is a pleasure. Jenny will help you change your thinking so that it becomes such.

As an experienced trainer, Jenny will help you to improve your self image. You will learn to enjoy looking in the mirror. Any false negative beliefs about yourself will be challenged. We will also work with the DiMartini Value Determination Process. This will be used to align health and fitness with your highest values. Going to the gym is no longer a choice, it is a way of life.

We will also generate new, positive behaviours to replace those which are not serving you.

Jenny always wanted to study Yoga at its source. Her dream became a reality when she went to study in India under Yogacharya Lalit Kumar. She was trained in Ashtanga inspired yoga with Iyengar alignment techniques and methodology. Because she studied in Yoga's birthplace, her style of Yoga is very authentic. It combines asana, pranyama, mantras and meditation. Yoga is a complete science and Jenny believes it should be practiced as such.

Jenny has been practicing yoga for 10 years. She knows first hand the benefits it has on both the mind and body. She has a strong anatomical knowledge. This ensures her students are in the correct alignment in order to both deepen their practice and prevent injury.

The relaxation techniques used in yoga can lessen chronic pain. This could include lower back pain; arthritis; headaches and carpal tunnel syndrome. Yoga can also lower blood pressure and reduce insomnia.

Other physical benefits of yoga include:

  • Increased flexibility

  • Increased muscle strength and tone

  • Improved respiration, energy and vitality

  • Maintaining a balanced metabolism

  • Weight reduction

  • Cardio and circulatory health

  • Improved athletic performance

  • Protection from injuries

One of the best benefits of yoga is how it helps a person manage stress. This can have devastating effects on the body and mind. Stress can reveal itself in many ways, including back or neck pain, sleeping problems, headaches and lack of concentration. Yoga can help develop coping skills to achieve a more positive outlook on life.

Yoga’s incorporation of meditation and breathing can help improve a person’s mental well-being. Regular yoga practice creates mental clarity and calmness; increases body awareness; relieves chronic stress patterns; relaxes the mind; centers attention; and sharpens concentration.

1-1 Sessions

Group yoga classes are great, but a private teacher deepens your practice in surprising ways. Whether new to the yoga game, needing rehabilitation from an injury, or just wanting to take your practice deeper, 1-1 sessions can offer some surprising benefits.

With 1-1 sessions, all the attention is on you. It’s like the benefits a student receives from a tutor versus classroom learning. You will learn to develop your self practice as this is how yoga was originally practiced. The sessions will be tailored to your individual needs; whether these are physical or spiritual. Postural imbalances can be corrected as well as individual areas of tightness released.

There’s safety in private yoga instruction, all your injuries and special needs are addressed in each pose. You can also build a new practice much faster than in a group setting, due to the focused training you’re receiving. You develop a relationship with the teacher, and each class is fine-tuned to your needs.

How we stand impacts upon the way we look. When standing tall, shoulders back, we look better and we also feel better. You can try it right now. Sit in a hunched position looking to the floor for a minute. How did it make you feel? Now sit up tall, shoulders back and looking straight. Did you feel the difference? Our physiology affects our psychology. So how we hold ourselves directly impacts upon our mood. Not only that, as a nation we are becoming increasingly desk bound. This creates hunched shoulders and a forward head posture. This leads to 100% spinal injury at zero miles an hour. If left uncorrected this can lead to serious problems.

Jenny will correct any imbalances so that you look better but also help prevent potential injuries that these can cause.

Toxins: We live in a very toxic environment: From our foods, to beauty products and even the air that we breathe. When our bodies are full of toxins, our hormones are thrown out of balance. This in turn results in weight gain especially on women’s hips thighs and stomach.

Simple changes will be made in order to detox the body. This will rid it of any toxins and result in weight loss from those stubborn areas.

Social detox: Toxic relationships can bring us down or make us feel bad about ourselves. We will perform a ‘social detox’. This will help you to decipher between those who will support you and those who will hinder your transformation. This info will be used in order to put contingencies in place. You can then overcome any negative influences these people would bring.

Sleep: weight gain and lack of sleep are connected through insulin sensitivity.  When our blood sugar is elevated, our body releases insulin in order to bring the glucose levels in our blood back down. However, when we overload our bodies with carbohydrates and sugars, our body must produce more insulin in order to bring down our blood glucose. This in turn can lead to health problems such as diabetes and obesity. It has been found that just one night of partial sleep results in decreased insulin sensitivity. We will look at your sleeping habits and put a proper routine in place so that there are no more sleepless nights.

Jenny's packages do not only focus upon your fitness goals, Together, you will look at other areas of your life that you would like to improve. From here you will explore exactly what changes you would like to make, the strategies you have available to achieve it and helping you to believe in your decision making abilities so that you go on to achieve greatness in every area of your life.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) is a method of influencing brain behaviour (the "neuro" part of the phrase) through the use of language (the "linguistic" part) and other types of communication to enable a person to "recode" the way the brain responds to stimuli (that's the "programming") and manifest new and better behaviours. Neuro-Linguistic Programming often incorporates hypnosis and self-hypnosis to help achieve the change (or "programming") that is wanted.

NLP can be used for the following:

  • Habit Change
  • Challenging Limiting Beliefs
  • Changing Negative Reactions to Triggers
  • Phobias
  • Generating New Positive Behaviours
  • Anchoring
  • Creating Well Formed Outcomes
  • Internal Conflict Resolution
  • Goal Realisation
